Everything, Everywhere

Last night I finally got around to watching Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.

I started watching it when I was feeling ill with Covid about a month ago. But after 10 minutes I gave up. I just wasn’t in the right mood to watch such a weird film.

But the second time, well that was very different. I loved it. Even if it was hard to follow at times and had some really strange scenes (the rock conversation got me).

Jamie Lee Curtis who plays a central character, Deirdre Beaubeirdra is such a great role model and bad ass. She’s played so many different parts over the years and its great to see that she’s showing no signs of slowing down. I love to see that in women close to my age. It’s very inspiring.

Fun fact I didn’t know: Jamie’s title (although she doesn’t use it) is Baroness Haden-Guest via her marriage to Christopher Guest, 5th Baron Haden-Guest.
