Today was a compliance day.
And you may not have any idea what I’m talking about. What is a compliance day?
Well the formal meaning of compliance, in the Cambridge dictionary is:
the act of obeying an order, rule or request.
But the ‘mainly disapproving’ definition is:
the state of being too willing to do what other people want you to do.
I was involved with a day working on the the first. Not the second. Although it does sometimes feel as though it’s all about what other people want me to do.
I was happy enough with how I spent my day today. It was satisfying and productive, and it moves me closer to where I want to be in my business.
A day well spent. They can’t all be exciting can they?
